About MCIT

Established in 2025, Gianna Sasmore created Music City Ice Theatre to generate a love of team based figure skating in young, and adult, skaters, alike. She competed for three seasons on a TOI team herself and those three years hold her favorite skating memories from childhood. She wanted other skaters to experience the same love and joy that she had with TOI by creating her own team.

Since then MCIT has continued to grow. With what started as two teams has turned into three! Throughout the season, the teams continued to grow, learn and establish bonds with each other!

Theatre on ice is about creating life long skating memories with friends while having a blast telling stories through movement and theatrical productions. No amount of words can describe how fulfilling a season on MCIT can be until you experience it for yourself!
